How to Download SFT xml?

The authorized person (designated director for Form No. 61B and Form No. 61A and principal officer for Form No. 61) of a reporting entity are authorized to download the XML of the statement previously submitted on reporting portal.

Before performing the steps to download XML, the user needs to install an em-signer on their system. The steps to download and install em-signer are as follows:

Step 1: To download the em-signer utility before logging in to the reporting portal, click on the Utilities link under the Resources tab on the right sidebar of Reporting Portal home page. To download the em-signer utility after logging in, click on the Resources link on the top navigation bar and then select the utility tab.

Step 2: On the utility page, click on the download link against em-signer.

Step 3: To install the file, double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the installation wizard. The em-signer will get installed on the user’s system.

When a user wants to download a Statement XML, it is mandatory to first run an em-signer on the system by double-clicking on the installed em-signer icon.

New Requests

The steps to raise a new request are as follows:

Step 1: Under the Statements module, click Download Statement XML from the left sidebar.

Step 2: On the new view, click the New Requests tab.

Step 3: Enter the details of the statement that needs to be downloaded.

Step 4: Enter the Captcha code and click Next.

Step 5: On clicking Next, the authorized person will receive 2 OTPs – one on the registered phone number and one on the registered email ID – to confirm the request.

Step 6: Enter the OTPs in the corresponding fields and click Submit. This opens a pop-up window.

Step 7: The pop-up window displays the details for the request and requested statement.

Step 8: At the bottom of the pop-up, click on the Sign PDF button and then perform the required steps on the digital signature wizard to digitally sign the Request PDF.

Step 9: On successful submission, a success message pop-up appears. The user can download the acknowledgment PDF from this pop-up. An email will also be triggered to the Designated Director and Principal Officer of the reporting entity, notifying them about the XML download submission request.

Raised Requests

The status of the request will be submitted and can be checked from raised requests screen. The statement will be made available to the reporting entity after 24 hours and within two business days. Once the statement is available, an email will be triggered to the principal officer and designated director of the reporting entity, informing them about the availability of the statement XML. Status of

the processed request changes to ‘available’. The statement XML file will be available for one-time download at the raised requests screen for up to 15 days after being made available.

The steps to download the statement XML of the available statement are as follows:

Step 1: Click on the download icon under the column “Download XML” for the statement whose request status is available.

Step 2: Enter the OTPs received on the registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Click on Submit.

Once downloaded, the request status changes to ‘Downloaded’. An email will be triggered notifying the user that the XML file has been downloaded. The email will also contain the password required to open the downloaded ZIP file that contains the XML.
