The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on Wednesday via their official Twitter handle has released the figure of Income Tax Refunds made between 1st April 2020 and 15th February 2021. As per the I-T Department, income tax refunds of ₹68,515 crores have been issued in connection with 1.88 Lakh cases and corporate tax refunds of ₹1,24,939 crores have been issued in over 2.16 lakh cases.
