NOTIFICATION
April 15, 2020
In terms of Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I(A) dated March 24, 2020, of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Securities and Exchange Board of India had issued a notification dated March 24, 2020, notifying various entities to provide capital and debt market services for a period of 21 days with effect from March 25, 2020.
The Ministry of Home Affairs vide Order No. 40-3/2020- DM-I (A) dated April 15, 2020, has issued revised guidelines on the measures to be taken for containment of COVID-19 in the country and directed that these measures will continue to remain in force up to May 03, 2020. These guidelines permit the continuation of certain services which include the Securities and Exchange Board of India and Capital and Debt Market Services as notified by SEBI.
Accordingly, in terms of clause 7 iii, of the said Guidelines, the Notification dated March 24, 2020, issued by SEBI will continue to remain in force in all parts of the country up to May 03, 2020.
